Coquitlam

EagleRidge Outdoor Pool
1200 Landsdowne Drive

Eagleridge Outdoor Pool is open each summer for public swimming in this instance it was transformed into a resort setting for the pool scenes in Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

sumiqwuelu / Riverview Lands
2601 Lougheed Highway

sumiqwuelu/Riverview is within the ancestral and core territory of Kwikwetlem First Nation. This 244-acre site is one of the top film locations in North America including Elf, Supergirl, Deadpool, Riverdale, X-Files and Elysium.

Town Centre Park
1299 Pinetree Way

Coquitlam’s premier urban park is a mix of sports fields, a stadium, gardens, a lake and plenty of green space. Popular shows such as Supergirl and DC Legends of Tomorrow have been shot here!

Coquitlam Centre
2929 Barnet Highway

Coquitlam Centre is one of B.C.’s largest shopping malls with over 200 stores and is a popular spot for filming. It has featured movies and TV shows such as Grumpy Cat, Juno, and more!

Maple Ridge

Downtown Maple Ridge
11995 Haney Place

Within the Memorial Peace Park in Downtown Maple Ridge, you will find spectacular gardens, open green space, seating areas and public artworks by local artists. This downtown core receives a ton of film volume.

The Ridge Studios
22366 119 Avenue

The Ridge Film Studios is an old retail space and serves as a set location for episodic television programs. Maple Ridge’s film roots go back to the 1970s when scenes for the feature film “Rambo” were shot here.

Whonnock Lake Centre and Park
27871 113 Avenue

Considered the crown jewel of Maple Ridge, Whonnock has been transformed into a mining site, a picturesque wedding location, and a rave setting on the beach for various film productions.

Billy Miner and Port Haney Wharf
22355 River Road

The Billy Miner is a quaint pub directly across from the historic Port Haney Wharf and has been a popular filming location for movies such as Honor Society, Perfect Recipe, Peak Season, and Three Sisters.

Mission

Rocko’s Diner

This is an extremely popular spot for film sets and cinephiles alike. Rocko’s Diner has been the set of many popular movies and TV shows including Riverdale, Horns, Percy Jackson the Lightning Thief, The Tortured, and Killer Amongst.

Powerhouse at Stave Falls

Get ready for a sci-fi extravaganza at this popular movie location! With shows such as DC Legends of Tomorrow, Stargate Universe, Supergirl, Smallville, X-files, X-Men 2, The Flash, Siren and many more filmed here!

Downtown Mission

While famous for their tender hearted Hallmark films, the Downtown is still not shy to a little action and adventure. Catch movies such as Playing with Fire, The Stand, and Beyond at this location!

Sandpiper Resort

The romantic atmosphere, elegant decor, and luxury cabins make Rowena’s Inn feel like you can create your own Hallmark moment. Many Hallmark films have actually been filmed at Rowena’s Inn.

Pioneer Avenue

This quaint downtown core has been used for filming including Wayward Pines, Virgin River, Falling For Vermont, Republic Of Sarah, Bad Times at the El Royale.

Fraser River Lodge

Located on the cusp of wilderness the Fraser River Lodge is the perfect setting for filming. Most recently, the Fraser River Lodge was used as a set location for the romantic film My Best Friend’s Bouquet.

Sasquatch Mountain Resort

Sasquatch Mountain above Harrison Lake provides an alpine setting that is perfect for movies and where One Winter Wedding was shot.

Harrison Hot Springs

Starlight Skating Rink
500 Esplanade Avenue

Harrison Hot Springs’ own outdoor skating venue adorned in lights and available to all was the perfect setting for the stick on the Ice Video of local musician Todd Richard.

Harrison Resort
100 Esplanade Avenue

The iconic Harrison Resort has been a landmark in Harrison for over 100 years and has hosted many filmstars as well as provided a backdrop to many movies including the recent My Best Friends Bouquet.

The Esplanade running along the south end of Harrison Lake has been the backdrop for many shows and movies including My Best Friends Bouquet, Still Standing and Solitary.

Front Entrance Sasquatch
Hot Springs Road

The Sasquatch and structure at the entrance to Harrison were built by the Timber Kings and featured in one of their episodes.

Hope

Hope, Cascades & Canyons Visitor Centre
Multiple Locations

The famous Rambo film, First Blood was filmed in BC in November of 1981. A self-guided map of the filming locations in Hope can be picked up at the Hope, Cascades & Canyons Visitor Centre.

Memorial Park
Wallace Street & 3rd Avenue

Memorial Park and the large carving in front of District Hall are featured in A Christmas Tree Grows in Colorado, as well as many other locations in the downtown area.

Manning Park Resort

The beautiful year-round resort at Manning Park features hiking and mountain biking in the summer and skiing in the winter and is often the site of a film crew as they capture the holiday and ski aesthetics.

Midtown Plaza
Downtown Hope

The Midtown Plaza in downtown Hope features several locally owned businesses. The shopping centre’s sign also appears briefly in First Blood (1982).
